Below is a rundown of some of my basic editing services (all prices include GST).

 

$35 for a 400 to 500-word piece, e.g. a blog post or advertisement.
This includes spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as, where appropriate, adjustments in sentence structure and/or word choice to enhance the effectiveness of the writing.

$80 for a 1,000-word piece
Cost includes all the above services and, additionally, comment boxes if I change something that you may question. I can justify every change that I make.

 

$120 for a piece from 1,000 to 2,500 words.
This is often the approximate length of advertising pamphlets, so this is money well spent - nothing turns a professional client off more than a spelling or grammar mistake! 

 

$50 to make a Press Release punchier.

Prices for academic papers - 

​

* $30 per 250 - 280 words (e.g. a typical IELTS Writing Task 2 essay). 

* $250 per 3,000 words, or $320 per 5,000 words (e.g. a capstone).

​

All academic editing work includes comment boxes in the edit, and the opportunity of asking me follow up questions regarding the changes that I have made.

Prices for creative works 

(e.g. short stories, novellas, scripts or full manuscripts) 

* $120 for works up to 2,000 words. 

* $220 for works up to 5,000 words.

$350 for works up to 10,000 words. 

* Works of larger word counts are negotiable
 

All creative work editing includes spelling and grammar checks, sentence and paragraph structure suggestions, comment boxes and list of general feedback/comments.
